A few (Ok, several) weeks ago, I brought you four options for trays that I was considering for a coffee bar/area that I wanted to have set up before the holidays. I finally picked one!
I've actually had the tray for a while now, but I was on the hunt for a milk glass cream and sugar set which I finally found at a local antique shop, so I can finally reveal the coffee bar to all of you!
I chose the Eloise tiered tray from Painted Fox Treasures. I loved that the top looked like a hitching post and the antiqued finish. Plus, it wasn't too big. I didn't want anything too large because we already have a regular coffee pot and a Keurig Vue taking up counter space.
On the top tier I included coffee stirrers, paper straws and my raspberry syrup along with sugar packets. I like to change the paper straws with the seasons. We had orange and black for Halloween and I plan to add some red for Christmas.
The bottom tier includes a stainless steel milk frothing pitcher and frother from IKEA along with my new milk glass cream and sugar set.
I found the cute green peck basket on clearance at Micheal's. It was the perfect size to hold all of my Vue cups.
When Cheddar's opened up in Bloomington, I tried their peach sweet tea and I fell in love. Since I can't drive 45 minutes every time I want a peach tea, I have fallen in love with the Monin Peach Syrup (you can buy the pump here)! I think I'm going to buy some strawberry next summer for lemonade.
I had originally wanted a "Little Coffee and a Whole Lotta Jesus" print hung on the wall too, but then I decided that with the tall tray and the syrup being so tall, that it would be hidden and possibly make the space too busy. (I'm still not completely sure. Let me know what you think in the comments!)
Now when we host guests for Christmas, I have Vue cups for hot cocoa and hot cider. We'll have the coffee pot full. I plan to add marshmallows in the milk glass creamer pitcher and like I said earlier, I'm going to use my paper straws to add some Christmas color.
What do you think? What other things do you include in your coffee station?
